We purchased a lift/recliner chair as I was having hip surgery. The salesman was very helpful, however, when the chair was delivered, I found that it was not meeting my needs. In addition, it had a 'cut' mark on the arm and the back of the chair looked as if it was not properly stuffed. The salesman was most helpful and agreed from my photos that the chair needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, as I had upcoming surgery, having another chair made would take time - and I needed the chair to help with the upcoming surgery. (There was not another chair in stock to replace this one.) Without hesitation, the salesman assisted me to find a chair that met my needs, however, as it was to be manufactured it would take weeks before I would receive it. Understanding my situation, he said that I could keep the current chair until the new chair was delivered. This was amazing, as I had surgery, a bilateral hip replacement, prior to the new chair being delivered. I really appreciated being able to use the chair post - op. Made all the difference in my recovery. The compassion showed to me in this experience will not to be forgotten. The new chair is amazing and I am so grateful for the support from the company in this purchase. We also have another sofa/love seat set, purchased in 2000, that still looks great. I would definitely recommend this company and their staff, in particular Avery Matlow, for their professionalism and service.
