The Chesterfield Shop carries City-Size™Seating designed to be proportionally beautiful and fit into smaller spaces. Many of the sides and backs of our seating can be removed and reassembled for impossibly tight fits, we try to accommodate all situations.

Complimentary check-measures are available if there’s any doubt- we will do our best to ensure a “no-fit” doesn’t occur. Ask your Sales Associate for full details.

The Chesterfield Shop opened its original location in Toronto’s Junction exclusively selling sofa-beds. Over the past 7 decades, The Chesterfield Shop is family-owned and operated, and has evolved into 6 wonderful locations in the GTA and Newmarket– and sofa-beds are still our thing. They come in all configurations, in sofas and sectionals, with chaises or as a chair-bed, with mattresses ranging from single and full to queen and king. With easy-to-open contract mechanisms, and a large selection of Posturepedic and gel mattress upgrades, there is a comfortable sleeping option for everyone.

Chesterfield Shop is the best choice when looking for a new sofa. I made my first big furniture purchase from them 17 years ago, and when we decided to start looking for a new piece, we ended up back there again. We browsed all the big box stores first, thinking we couldn't afford as much this time, but nothing compares to The Chesterfield Shop. The staff, the products, the delivery, the whole process is leaps and bounds ahead of any of those other places. Latifa helped us make our purchase after a few trips in (she was very patient with us~as it's a large purchase that you're meant to have for a long time) she also was very helpful with the fabric choice we made even when I second guessed myself and had to go back and make a change, she made me feel comfortable the whole time and not like a burden. Everything was seamless, including the delivery. We are so happy we decided to go back to the best. FYI, you can customize basically anything they have available with sizing, fabric, etc. so if you don't see it right away, they will help you find it. We liked the couch on display, but we didn't love the fabric options, so we spent some time and found the perfect custom fabric change, and we are so happy.You won't be disappointed!

I started my renovations and then started looking for replacement furniture, in particular a 3 seater sofa. My search turned into frustration as I couldn’t find anything that met my standards. I wanted contemporary clean lines with the ability to tailor to my needs.After an exhausting and disappointing search at many well known stores, a friend suggested the Chesterfield Shop.I looked at the web site and didn’t think it had what I would want.I went in today and was greeted ( not ignored like 2 big stores from the US) and asked what I needed and wanted. Vanessa took her time to show me options and within 30 minutes I knew I had found exactly what I had been searching for.Folks they have quality furniture and tons of options. After weeks of searching for a modern, stylish, cozy couch that would actually last for years, I was shocked to find one so easily in an affordable price point. I had assumed, incorrectly, that this store would have only very expensive couches due to the quality they offer, but we were able to find a perfect option for less than $2000 for a sofa for my apartment.Hundreds of colour options and the ability to customize the size means I'll have my perfect couch .
